Celebrating with Ray Knight
Congratulations Ray
Today we celebrated two very important milestones for long-time member Ray Knight.
Firstly, President Darryl presented Ray with a 25 year membership badge. Ray has been an active member of our club, regularly attending sessions up to 3 days per week. He has been involved in the bowls group, the bingo group and heartily enjoyed singing along when our band performed. We were lucky to hear a little rendition of the songs he remembered.
Ray was also presented with a birthday cake to celebrate his 100th birthday. Our members sang Happy Birthday then helped Ray enjoy the cake with our afternoon tea.
